These terms apply when you play Golden Roll ("the game"), made by Greener Grass Oy ("we"). By playing, you agree to them.
Your account
Your account is created automatically on your device and is tied to that device. To move it to a new device, keep the recovery code shown in Settings → Account, or link an email address there and recover with a code we send to it. Without either we may not be able to recover the account, though if you gave us an email address with a purchase we can often help.
You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to play, and especially to make purchases.
You are responsible for what happens on your account. Do not share it, sell it, or use someone else's.
Fair play
Do not cheat, use modified clients, automate play, exploit bugs for gain, or interfere with our servers. Do not harass other players or send abusive content through support. We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.
Other players see your player name. It must not contain slurs or hate, sexual content, insults or threats, personal details such as a phone number, or links and ads, and it must not pretend to be us or our staff. We check new and changed names and replace one that breaks these rules with a generated name. We may close the account of a player who keeps choosing such names. To report a name, or to appeal a change to yours, contact us in the game (Settings → Support) or by email.
Virtual items and purchases
In-game currency and items are a limited licence to use them inside the game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred out of the game.
Game rooms charge an entry fee in in-game coins and award in-game prizes. There is no real-money wagering: nothing you win in the game can be cashed out or exchanged for money or anything of value outside the game.
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and their refund rules apply. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK you have a statutory right of withdrawal; note that it does not survive you spending or consuming a purchased item.
We may change the price, availability, or in-game effect of items, and may retire items or game modes.
Ads
The game shows ads, including rewarded ads you can choose to watch for an in-game reward. A reward is given when the ad provider confirms you watched the ad; if it cannot confirm it, no reward is given. How ads use your data, and how to limit it, is explained in the privacy policy.
Availability
The game needs an internet connection and we run it on a best-effort basis. We may take servers down for maintenance, change or remove features, and — if we ever shut the game down — we will give notice in the game where we can.
Our content
The game, its artwork, sounds, and code belong to us. You may record and stream your own play, including monetised videos. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the game or its assets.
Liability
The game is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected. Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. The account is deleted 7 days later, and until then you can cancel in the game. Deletion is permanent and purchases cannot be restored afterwards. If you can no longer open the game, see "Deleting your account" in the privacy policy. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version and we will notify you in the game of significant changes. These terms are governed by Finnish law, and you can always bring a claim in the courts of your own country of residence.
